For our client, global banking company, is looking for a FINANCIAL REPORTING SPECIALIST FOR A 9-MONTHS CONTRACT.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Are you a motivated self-starter? Do you have the know-how for analysing financial information and the respective processes? We're looking for someone like that to help us:
- review the process in relation to intercompany services
- develop and implement a governance, process and key controls in the intercompany process in the non-IB divisions
- work together with the IT-specialist and write the business requirements
- support role out of new governance (incl. training sessions)
YOUR TEAM
You'll be working in the Intercompany Switzerland team in Zurich. Our role is to implement successfully the intercompany governance framework to all bank entities. We help by ensuring complete, correct and auditable reporting satisfying internal and external requirements.
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- University degree in Accounting/Finance combined with a Swiss CPA or equivalent
- 4 to 6 years in public accounting/audit, including a very good understanding of IFRS
- Experience with financial services industry would be an advantage
- Project management skills
YOU ARE:
- Strong analytical skills as well as excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with staff at all levels
- Proficient user of MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), SAP (BW), GCRS, GGL and GEAR knowledge would be an asset
- Fluent in English is required; German would be an additional asset
- Hands-on mentality, pro-activity, flexibility and commitment is key
