Our client is a pharmaceutical company and is currently looking for a FINANCIAL REPORTING CONSULTANT to help them to help them to align and improve the FINANCIAL REPORTING PROCESS of their R&D department. The FINANCIAL REPORTING CONSULTANT will work in the research & development department for at least 4 months.
Scope of work:
In the R&D department, in particular the Budget Integration Team, there is a critical need of a position to coordinate and followup on different projects and activities.
The three main fronts to support are related to:
- Budget (Cost and Resources) Data Quality
- Ensure IT Systems Alignment
- Ensure R&D Functional Planning Coherence to increase quality of outputs
The job holder will be accountable to ensure Budget Data Quality regarding Cost, Resources and Scheduling considerations for R&D Department.
He/she will need to track Project Activities decisions from Governance Authorities and ensure sustainable alignment in systems (SAP, Excel, specific Applications, etc.).
He/she will be accountable to liaise with IT department and R&D Business Units on a regular basis to ensure correct implementation and deployment of SAP PS and with the purpose of budgeting (Cost and resources) functional activities within research & development Department.
He/she will need to support the Budget Integration Team in line with the strategy (Budgeting Performance KPIs, etc.)
Requirements:
- Master Degree in Bio-sciences/Chemistry/IT/Finance/Management or equivalent job progression experience.
- Project Management skills, ability to understand complex situations and apply simple and logic solutions.
- The ideal candidate has strong technical data analysis skills and business wise.
- Excellent IT tools knowledge (SAP and Excel).
- Very good understanding of technical platforms under their responsibility.
- Knowledge of vaccines development a plus, though not required.
- Fluent in English
- 8+ years of previous experience, ideally in Pharma R&D, Healthcare or IT or both, performing as project manager and/or other transversal roles.
- Able to manage interactions with different parts of the organization at all levels in a matricial structure.
- Need to work efficiently under pressure.
- Mature and proactive approach.
