FINANCIAL REPORTING ANALYST - CONTRACT ROLE - URGENT

Excellent opportunity for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join a growing company based in Harrogate.

KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with colleagues within the Commercial Finance team to identify, specify and prioritise reporting requirements
- Design and develop Business Objects reports which meet these requirements
- Ensure complete and ongoing financial integrity of all reports built, applying relevant accounting principles.
- General understanding of the objective of each reporting requirement
- Understand my clients principles governing BO reporting to ensure that reporting architecture is understood and is able to be maintained post-placement
- Liaise with Commercial team to ensure the correct prioritisation of workload
- Effective communication both within finance and commercial team and to the wider business as appropriate
- Able to interpret reporting needs of individuals which are not BO literate
- Ideally Qualified or part qualified accountant or failing that able to demonstrate SIGNIFICANT experience of successfully building reports for a Finance function
- Competent use of BO (ideally at version 4) or equivalent reporting platform
