Financial Reporting Accountant

Our client a leading financial services firm is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team in Edinburgh.

Key responsibilities for the Financial Reporting Accountant include:

- Ensuring all statutory and regulatory deadlines are met while maintaining accuracy
- Reviewing year end accounts this will involve liaising with auditors and advisors linked to tax
- Completion of monthly management and quarterly IFRS/local GAAP reporting
- Ensuring all unit trust/partnership accounts are completed in a timely manner

Key skills for the Financial Reporting Accountant include:

- Qualified Accountant preferred
- Experience with dealing with statutory account production or audit highly advantageous
- Financial Services experience
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong awareness of global accounting standards, preferably US GAAP and IFRS
