Financial Planning Manager - Group/Telco/M&A

We are currently recruiting for a a high calibre, ambitious individual to work as Financial Planning Manager (Head of) for a telecoms client in West London. Reporting into Director level the key goal is to drive our clients strategic planning forward.

Main responsibilities will include -
* The interpretation of business strategy, and translation in to a simplified planning model for the business
* Setting the agenda and timing for planning activity
* Developing and maintaining close working relationships with the CFO, business unit FDs and their teams, and senior management across the business
* Provide challenge back in to the business to align short term forecasting with longer term plans

The ideal individual will have experience of strategic planning in a large consumer centric organisation. As well as, a Merger & Acquisitions background, in which you have reviewed and challenged strategic planning assumptions. A background with Big4 consultancy will be advantageous

This role's impact extends across the Group, with significant interaction with all Finance teams and senior management. You will be able to vary your approach as required for different audiences, to be able to work as effectively with our internal management board as you are with our central finance team and our business partnering teams.
