Financial Planning Manager

My client based in Worcester is currently in need of a Financial Planning Manager (Financial Planning, Manager, Budgeting, Forecasting, Analyst) to carry out an initial 6 month assignment.

The Financial Planning Manager (Financial Planning, Manager, Budgeting, Forecasting, Analyst) will be responsible for the following:

Initial Tasks
*Financial analysis of all IS standard services and current project work.
*Strategy for managing IS spend, budget and forecasting, cost allocation and recharging.
*Re-engineer the budgeting and forecasting processes by IS function and with alignment to IS demand from the business.
*Produce finance plan for 2014/15 and 2015/16.
*Contribute service costs to the IS service catalogue.

On-going Tasks
*Track all IS department spend and cost allocation.
*Measure financial performance against budget and bench marked KPIs.
*Provide costs for planned and ad-hoc unplanned works.
*Liaise with outsourced support to cost work.
*Liaise with vendor manager on contract negotiations.
*Produce regular statements of IS spend and forecasts.
