Financial Planning (Head of) - M&A, Strategy, Telco

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Financial Planning to join a market-leading telecommunications company based in West London.

The goal of this position is to drive the strategic planning forward in the financial Services area of the company. This is a new position and there is lots of flexibility, allowing you to shape the agenda and drive your own success.

The key responsibilities of the Head of Financial Planning will be:
*The interpretation of the business strategy, and translation in to a simplified planning model for the business.
*Setting the agenda and timing for all planning activity
*Developing and maintaining close working relationships with the CFO, business unit FDs and their teams, as well as senior management across the business.
*Provide challenge back in to the business to align short term forecasting with longer term plans.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

*Extensive experience of strategic planning in a large organisation
*Have come from a M&A or Investment Analyst background
*Working knowledge of a consumer-focused business (ideally in telecoms)
*Have previous experience working for one of the Big 4 consultancies
*Experience of Senior Management/Consultant roles in a relevant area
