The Company

Robert Half Management Resources is currently recruiting for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join a well known Blue Chip organisation in the West Midlands on a interim basis.

The Role

Management Resources are assisting a PLC client with a maternity situation. The outgoing individual intends to take one year's leave of absence leaving an integral hole to be filled within the Finance team.

The Responsibilities of the role are as follows: Effective management of a small team to develop them into a well motivated, efficient, consistent and proactive function. To manage and prioritise workloads within the team. Challenge existing processes and controls, to seek creative and innovative solutions that drive efficiency gains throughout the business. To manage the UK strategic planning and budget setting process ensuring a structured and consistent approach is adopted, and that group requirements are satisfied. Management of group planning and forecasting requirements, including monthly reporting. To ensure that the production of the monthly reporting packs is completed on a timely and accurate basis. To manage the independent production of the monthly forecast and accompanying commentary, ensuring that the business is fully engaged with the process. The Successful candidate will be a qualified individual with minimum 3 years post qualified experience. The candidate should also be a proven career interim, immediately available and able to commit to the duration of the contract.

Key Skills Required of the successful interim candidate: Flexible approach to work, demonstrating strong commercial acumen and excellent communication and IT skills, committed to both personal and corporate development. Proven experience of driving process and control improvement, managing people and meeting reporting deadlines Broad accounting, governance, controls and financial systems and technical knowledge Proven experience of adding value and task ownership Strong analytical skills.

Salary & Benefits
