Financial & Operational RISK Manager-Geneva-Private Banking

Our CLIENT Our client is a famous and traditional private bank having a stable and successful history and a promising future. In order to reinforce their Risk expertise, they are looking for a Financial and Operational Risk Manager, who will be based in Geneva. In direct report to the CRO, this candidate will be highly involved within the business and the front office activities, which requests a large understanding of the products and financial market. The ROLE Your main duties will be: - Identify, measure, assess, monitor and control the financial risks linked to financial market and trading (liquidity, banking book) - Compliance and risk management process focused on new products, clients side - Daily follow up with the team on financial risks, liquidity risk, trading risk, treasury, etc. - Reporting and ad hoc analysis + presentation - Development of KPIs and measurement tools at the Group level - Ad hoc analysis and projects in the risk field The REQUESTED profile We are looking for a candidate having the following skills and expertise: - Degree in finance, economics or business - Min. 10-12 years experience in financial and operational risk in a banking environment - Exposed to financial risk, trading risk, operational risk, portfolio liquidity risk, treasury activities, financial instruments - Experience in a private banking is a plus - Strong understanding of the financial products (derivatives and complex products) - IT and system (Risk related) literate, programming skills is a plus - Able to support project management, strong coordination and communication skills - Fluent in French (native or similar) + fluent in English - Independent, self starter, sense of initiatives, stress resilient, able to prioritize - Business minded, front office oriented and customer/service driven - EU passport OR Swiss passport is a must, with a Swiss permanent residence The OFFER This new role will give you the chance to have a broad role within a solid organization, at a VP level minimum.
