Financial Modeller

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Financial Modeller to join this leading division of our large FTSE100 organisation on a contract until December 2012 . KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.1. To lead and financially manage and control the bid management process within HR Solutions. 1.2. To lead on all pricing and finance bid activity relating to New Business and Big Ticket. 1.3. To develop and maintain pricing / product profitability within HR Solutions 1.4. To implement and maintain key financial controls within HR Solutions relating to Sales activity SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 2.1. To ensure that a robust and effective bid process is in place so that all proposals are supported by effective models and solutions to meet the "win” objective set by HR Solutions. 2.2. To lead on the development of a standard bid model to evaluate the financial case for all new proposed contracts. 2.3. To deliver continuous improvement and innovation by working with all levels of management to understand key cost and revenue drivers within our business. 2.3. To lead in the preparation and review of monthly management information analyzing the performance of the business. 2.2. To be the lead for financial reporting and providing insightful commentary on key monthly variances (Top Sheets) for month end profit and loss results and presentation of month end results to the Operations / Finance Directors. 2.3. To financially lead in the monthly forecasting process and the annual budgetary process by providing financial guidance and forecast training to relevant levels of management. 2.4. To financially monitor the credit control process within the businesses so that debt is kept within target levels set within the business and by Group Finance. 2.5. To lead in the implementation and review of all financial controls 2.6 . To assist in external & internal audits and ensure all aspects of compliance and control are met.
