FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS MANAGER (PROFIT) needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Universal City, CA

THE BIG PICTURE- TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related area. .
- Accounting qualification or MBA required desired.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in FP&A and two (2) years in other areas of finance.
- Experience of media/entertainment is essential.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The role is part of the head-office FP&A function located in Universal City, Los Angeles, and sits within a $1.5bn revenue generating, worldwide, home entertainment distributor and product acquirer.
- The FP&A Manager is responsible for the driving budget and close processes, pacing and reporting of the operating cash flow (OCF) performance
- Oversee the re-forecasting process, coordinating with finance leadership across the globe, consolidating, analysing, understanding and communicating performance to senior finance/executive management at the global HQ
- Manage the year-end and quarter close pacing process, analysing and communicating how the global performance of the business compares to financial commitments
- Key finance process manager of the regional performance reviews (dashboards) held between the executive management teams of the global HQ and the operating companies
- Owner of all title and sub-studio recognition loaded into the Film HQ reporting system, including the impact of revenue mix impact on amortization costs incurred by the Film HQ group.
- Drive the global budgeting cycles, including financial modelling to capture and analyze key revenue and cost drivers and consolidating the overall financial roll-up and key messages
- Oversee reporting to reporting relating to strategic partnerships on clearly defined tasks

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Ambition to learn and grow within the company
- Excellent excel, financial modelling and analytical skills are essential.
- Strong process focus but able understand and clearly communicate the bigger picture to finance and non finance people
- Strong candidates will be well organized and able to prioritize multiple and competing priorities.
- International experience and experience of a head-office environment working across multiple business units is desired .
- Knowledge of Business Warehouse/SAP a significant advantage
- Supervision of Senior Finance Analyst
- Supervision of offshore support
