FINANCIAL MANAGER/CONTROLLER
Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry. We are looking for a Financial Manager/Controller for a 6 months contract role.
KEY ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Support the Group Performance Measurement team in delivering critical outputs including Group Forecast and Executive reporting.
- Collaborate closely with senior divisional stakeholders enabling close co-ordination, communication and constructive review and challenge of financial performance.
- Support the analysis of Group plan financials, Group and divisional forecast results, including review and challenge, and feasibility assessment of Divisions meeting targets
- Analyze actual performance and prepare insightful supplementary analysis and comments to explain performance.
- Communication of Group wide timelines, requirements and deliverables.
- Support development of a strategic Group forecasting and performance measurement operating model, covering organization, process and technology.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Strong financial management/controlling background with Financial planning and analysis experience.
- Excellent analytical skills; ability to review large data sets and synthesize information to draw insightful conclusions.
- Effective presentation skills (written and verbal). Attention to detail a must.
- Strong commercial acumen in Financial services-banking preferable, both other financial experience considered.
- Flexible approach and can-do attitude.
