DESCRIPTION

Financial Analyst/Inventory Analyst - No. CA/Bay Area

Hours of Position: 8:30-5:00,  No expected Overtime

Travel to other San Francisco, San Jose Hospitals

REQUIRMENTS:
Must be comfortable working in a Hospital environment with patients cannot be squeamish
BA in Finance or Accounting required plus 2- 3+ years of direct relevant experience.

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO TOUCH TYPE AT 40 WORDS/MINUTE WITH ACCURACY. CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO WALK A FULL 8 HOUR WORK DAY, LIFT 30 LBS AND ARE ABLE TO DRIVE THEIR OWN CAR TO SITES IN SAN FRANCSICO AND THE PENINSULA.

Must Have Proven Data entry and Excel Skills Intermediate to Advanced (Excel & Access)
Must Have Strong Detail Orientation & Ability to Conduct Weeks of Research in Office prior to Hospital Visit
Must enjoy Researching history of Equipment
Preferred to have 2-3 years experience in Medical Office Environment or Healthcare
Must be able to walk all day while on site visits
Able to Crawl, squeeze and find Equipment throughout Hospitals
Must drive own Car to various Locations
Must be determined and accept cheerfully imperfect conditions
Strong Communication & People Skills required due to a variety of locations and people
Strong Sense of Ownership and Self-Motivated to Complete Projects
Must enjoy working with Hands in a Hospital Environment

Job Description:
Locating Inventory and Reconcile Capitol Assets
Researching, Locating, recording and reconciling Equipment Assets
Must have attention to detail and be innovative and determined to located equipment at Hospital Locations
Researching records and equipment maintenance systems(can take a week of research before visit
Cold Calls to Asset Custodians
On Site Search for Assets
Raw Data and Collection using Hand Held Scanner
Reporting Reconciliation using Excel & Access Based Reports
Scrubbing And Standardization of Asset Data Collection On Site
Manages and analyzes monetary resources and affairs within an organization. Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of internal clients. May also be responsible for conducting technical accounting research as needed. Prepares and maintains supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Updates and collects business unit reporting packages, helps prepare ad hoc financial reporting as necessary. Travel will be local (San Francisco and Peninsula).
