FINANCIAL DATA ANALYST

A Financial Data Analyst is urgently required for a long-term, lucrative contract with a major Financial Services client in Amsterdam.

The Financial Data Analyst will work in a highly dynamic and demanding environment within a small enthusiastic team.

The Financial Data Analyst will support the Chief Data Officer in the following areas:

- Improve data quality in Finance to a significantly higher level
- Help to provide uniform data definitions as well as better reference data and alignment/contribution with client modelling
- Build and maintain data lineage, determine data requirements and take data architectural design choices
- Support other stakeholders in Finance in fulfilling their roles in data governance and provide support for issues, impediments, roadmaps and progress

The Financial Data Analyst will ideally have 65%+ of the following skills and experience:

- Good knowledge of financial products
- Knowledge of the data domain and willingness to develop in this domain
- Mentality of continuous improvement
- Practical approach and avoid unnecessary details
- Ability to operate individually but in a team as well
- Flexible and delivery minded
- Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and in writing) skills;
- Good command of English, Dutch speakers strongly preferred

The Financial Data Analyst will:

- Deliver on proposals to improve or solve issues that are on the Chief Data Officer's agenda as described above
- Detail out ongoing improvement initiatives on data and make it happen
- Get the buy in of the relevant stakeholders
- Contribute to and build the roadmap on data in Finance
