*Financial Crime Manager - 6 Month Contract - Blue Chip Client*

My Blue Chip Client based in Staines are urgently looking for a Financial Crime Manager to join the team on an initial 6 month contract. There is a possible opportunity to work one day a week from home.

The key skills they are looking for are a financial crime manager who has experience with Fraud and corruption, Sanctions and extensive Risk Management experience. The ideal Fraud experience will include looking at the fraud process and frameworks and making the business take a more preventative and detection approach.

The day to day duties are to provide leadership and direction for financial crime through the provision of technical advice and oversight across the company.

The financial Crime manager will manage, lead and develop the financial crime executives within the company to a high technical standard to enable delivery of project objectives for financial crime in particular;

oFraud
oSanctions
oBribery and Corruption

The financial crime manager will support the management and direction of the project team in achieving strategic objectives and as a centre of excellence for financial crime requirements across the company. The financial crime manager will need to identify risk, be a decision maker and to operate as a key member of my clients leadership team.

Required experience and skills are
*Extensive experience in financial crime, and business assurance and compliance
*Management experience with supervisory and peer-liaison skills

Extensive knowledge of:
oFSA requirements
oIndustry good practice for Financial crime (Anti money laundering, Financial sanctions, Fraud and Bribery and corruption)
oRisk management practices
*Robust ability to challenge at the most senior level
*A good understanding of the political, legislative regulatory compliance and consumer environments affecting the financial services industry
*Interpersonal communication and negotiation skills with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes through consultation and conciliation
*Working knowledge of evidence management, civil/criminal proceedings and/or disciplinary processes
*Coaching/feedback and performance management skills
*Good systems knowledge, conversant in Outlook, Word, Excel and IE
*Objective analytical and lateral thinker
