Financial Controller&reporting Specialist

KEY EXPECTATIONS

- Develop consolidation model for the enlarged group and ensure seamless intregration/consolidation of new entities with existing;
- Partcipate in the data validation of financial and management reporting inputs from portfolio companies;
- Participate in the preparation of quarterly group financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards and Bahrain Commercial Companies law and other statutory requirements;
- Able to participate and manage the system implementations such as Hyperion/Cognos e.t.c.;
- Maintain/develop the standard financial and KPI reports for internal and external users, comprising shareholders, Board, Exco and Group SLT;
- Other tasks as may be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENT

- Qualified Accountant preferably Chartered Accountant with Telecom sector background ( preferred)
- Minimum three-six years' post qualification experience depending on the nature of role
- Experienced in multi-currency and multi-geography consolidation and acquisition accounting
- Advanced expertise in financial modelling and well-experienced in development    of advanced financial consolidation models
- In depth knowledge of IFRS interpretations and implementations.
- In depth knowledge of accounting for business combinations, Purchase price allocation, fair value determinations etc
- Strong working knowledge and experience of ERP systems and implementations
- Excellent Excel, Word and MS Office application and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent analytical & conceptual knowledge

- Hands on and able to work positively as part of a team
- Able to work under deadlines and intense pressures
- Fluent in oral and written English
