FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (BANKING)
On behalf of our client, a leading global company, we are looking for a FINANCIAL CONTROLLER WITH BANKING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on the KPIs (Management Information System) for the strategy monitored through department, sub-department and sector heads
- Providing monthly, quarterly and yearly reports of expenses charged for selected clients
- Ensuring the monthly controlling of outsourced account expenses including the accrual report, account netting and monthly closing process
- Ensuring monthly monitoring of department expenses
- Developing ad-hoc statistics and analyses for the department, clients, sub-department and sector heads and collaborating in the analyses for the strategic decision process
- Creating monthly statistics on quality assurance for all external top providers
- Collaborating with management on satisfying ad-hoc requests coming from the department, finance and clients
- Developing all Excel control files to cover the different business needs
The skills:
- Appropriate business education and controlling certification.
- Strong business acumen and ability to quickly understand business strategy and implications
- Over 3 years of experience in project controlling
- Technical knowledge and experience of MS Office tools, particularly Excel, including good skills in Macro Programming, and other controlling software.
- Experience of working in a large organization; ideally banking
- Excellent spoken and written EnglishAbility and to analyze strategic and charging data to identify business improvement opportunities and trends.
