IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Responsible for the complete bookkeeping in the company (Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Cash book management, Fixed asset management, General ledger management, Staff payroll (managed by BDO))
-Preparation of monthly management accounts including accounting for long-term contracts
-Balance sheet management including full reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
-Responsible for understanding and reporting on the differences between the German nominal codes and the mapping and reported numbers in the US GAAP codes
-Budgeting and forecasting
-Forensic accounting – identify and investigate posting within the system and raise the issue with the Finance Director
-Report to US parent company and comply with reporting requirements – SOX
-Manage issuance/return of bank guarantees
-Cash flow management and reporting
-Manage currency risk and advise Finance Director
-VAT, EC Sales and Intrastat returns

, administer Warehouse stock -Lease cars, telephones and facilities management
-Assist Finance Director with ad hoc projects as required
-Liaise with accounts staff in the UK, US and Germany
-Recommend and implement process improvements
-Help develop internal controls
-Comply with the QA manual and BMG established procedures

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Experience in working in a corporate accounting team
-Fluent in spoken and written business English
-Strong technical background
-Experience of preparation of Statutory Accounts in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
-Experience in US GAAP
-Experience in SOX-compliant working
-Project accounting for long-term contracts
-Experience of working with EPICOR or another ERP system
-Excellent computer skills, MS office and ERP experience
-Good verbal and written language skills
