IT Controller - Financial Controller - Finance Manager - Amsterdam

My global blue chip client has an urgent contract requirement for an experienced IT Controller/Financial Controller to join a busy IT Controlling team based in the Netherlands. The Successful IT Controller/Financial Controller will be joining a team responsible for effective financial management within IT, including budgeting, financial reporting, FTE tracking and cost control. Experience of following IT governance and control procedures is essential alongside a can-do attitude and a structured analytical approach to work.

Essential Skills and requirements:

*Experience in financial controlling/IT controlling with a good understanding of cost analysis and reporting, preferably in a multinational environment.
*Knowledge of controlling and accounting methodologies for reporting, governance and transfer pricing purposes.
*Advanced user of MS Excel, MS Access and ideally Business Objects.
*Knowledge of IT sourcing, controlling and financial management is essential
*Be able to assist in budgeting, financial reporting, cost and project control for IT across the global footprint of services.
*Excellent financial reporting skills, to various levels of business stakeholders
*An enthusiastic 'can-do' mentality with a structured, analytical and logical approach, and an ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
*Be able to make quick, effective, and business compliant decisions. Understands the importance of accurate and effective control.
*Excellent communication skills and experience working in an international environment, able to build on relationships with IT and business colleagues alike, and external suppliers as applicable.
*Fluent in English, both verbally and written. Other European languages are a plus.
*Occasional travel will be required to other European locations
