Financial Controller/Head of Finance

A Tier 1 investment bank is looking for a dynamic Financial Controller with an accountancy qualification to support the co-ordination of the Group wide Strategic Planning and Financial Planning process ensuring control and accountability around the process.

The successful candidate should have the following skills/experience:

- An accountancy qualification
- Front Office experience
- Asset management and/or private investment banking experience
- Strong financial management/control and business analysis skills
- Strong expertise in keeping up-to-date with emerging business, economic, and market trends
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and the will to work intensely towards challenging goals with persistence Client and Business Focus: Effectively handling different requests and the capability to build up trusting, long-term relationships with clients.
- Identification and definition of client needs and expectations
- Being a strong team player
- Very good communication skills
- Strong analytical skills as well as excellent problem solving skills
- Hands-on experience in improving current pro cesses and developing creative solutions
- Ability to motivate and inspire others' opinions with persuasive recommendations
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
- Strong excel and Powerpoint skills, with knowledge of Hyperion Essbase
