Financial Controller - Business Partner

My client a leading energy provider in the UK is currently seeking a Financial Controller - Business Partner. The successful person shall be required to provide financial control and support to the corporate and steering functions within the client. This will include reporting and analysis, financial planning and ad hoc support to assist Executive and senior managers with setting of budgets and overall cost control.

Responsibilities:

You shall review monthly accounts to ensure they accurately reflect the financial position of the area concerned with all activities accounted for correctly. As the finance controller you will be required to produce monthly financial analysis report for review with corporate steering function executive and senior managers which provides explanations of variances to plans, risks and opportunities for full year out-turn and tracking of key initiatives.

This person will manage the financial planning process for the relevant area including production of Medium Term Plan, Budgets and Re-forecasts, ensuring that Executive and senior managers have ownership of the plans and that supporting data and analysis is submitted to for review within deadlines.
