Financial Controller

I am recruiting a Financial Controller for an international telecom business. The Financial Controller will work very closely with the MD and is responsible for all finance related matters as well as supporting the senior management around strategic analysis, business cases, business development, management reporting etc. The UK team consist currently of 8 people and there are additional operations in America and Africa.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the day to day smooth running of the finance function
- Full responsibility for the PL and BS
- Safeguarding the integrity of the key accounts and all business controls
- Lead FPA process - short to strategic long term
- Management reporting
- Support management team/business partnering with strategic analysis, business cases, processes, various ad hoc queries
- Responsible for month/year end process including group reporting, consolidation, accruals, timings etc
- Improving best practices, processes and procedures
- Liaising with external accounting bureau on all accounting related matters
- Liaising with shared service center in on group reporting, cash flow, payments, capex requests, legal and other issues
