We are currently looking to recruit a Portfolio Manager for Cost Management and Financial Integration as part of our continued growth.

Background

The i-PLM Programme Team is responsible for enhancing and integrating the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) toolset from selection of vendors through implementation and on-going support.The launch of an enterprise-wise Enovia PLM suite of tools in partnership with Dassault Systemes has started, along with other integrated capabilities from other strategic vendors.

One key area that is planning to take advantage of this programme is the cross-functional capabilities of Cost Management and its integration with the Financial - transactional areas of the business. This will apply particularly to the early stages of vehicle programme cost target setting, governance through the product development life cycle, and potentially to manufacturing, service, and aftermarket activities.

The Role
The i-PLM Business Change team is accountable for delivery of the business organisation, process and cultural transformation necessary to optimise the benefits realised through implementation of the next generation of PLM tools.

Critical to this business transformation is understanding, visualising and communicating the Cost Management and Financial Integration landscape of tools, process, and data flow across Purchasing, Cost Engineering, Finance and Product Creation and Delivery functions.
As major business transformation programmes such as i-PLM, Turbo (SAP implementation), and business kaizen activities launch to support the on-going global business expansion and ambitious vehicle programme road-map, it is imperative that activities are aligned from the perspective of requirements, interfaces, data availability and security, and functional operations.

Key to achieving this visibility and supporting the transformation of the business is effective stakeholder relationship building, requirements management, effective communications (to management, technical, and user groups), and complex cross-functional portfolio management.

i-PLM Cost ManagementAccountabilities
* Support the analysis of business processes which are concerned with the management of cost and integration with finance systems.
* Support the creation of an end-to-end visualisation of the cost management landscape, identifying hidden factories and opportunities for improvement.
* Build excellent relationships with the cross-functional stakeholder community.
* Work with stakeholders to prioritise requirements and to understand business benefits and impact of i-PLM and business kaizen projects.
* Lead business improvement projects, working with the technical teams to embed new i-PLM Wave 2 and kaizen activities.
* Support the creation of effective communications materials for director level, technical, and end-user stakeholders.
* Act as a representative of the i-PLM programme as a whole to the wider business, supporting the core messages and dissemination activities such as road-shows and town halls.

The Person
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* Track record in Business Analysis capabilities to enhance business transformation such as stakeholder management, requirements engineering, and process mapping.
* Experience of business change in relation to tools, processes, data/information, culture/skills, governance/behaviors.
* Strong inter-personal skills and ability to engage with stakeholders from all levels of the business.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic.
* Efficient in capturing technical and non-technical knowledge from subject matter experts in consumable formats.
* Broad understanding of the Product Development process.
