Financial Controller

In this role the Financial Controller will be reporting directly to the Hospital General Manager and to the Group CFO based in London. On a day to day basis you will be managing the Finance team which includes a Management Accountant, Credit Controller and AP & AR clerk. You will be responsible for motivating them and supporting them in achieving their targets and helping the Hospital achieving their revenue goals. You will make sure that financial controls are maintained and look at any opportunity to improve these controls or make suggestions for any key enhancements to the current processes in place. One of the key focuses for the Financial Controller will be to take control of the P&L and Balance Sheet and look at the best way to maximise revenue and profits and keep costs under control. The GM is looking for the hospital to become smarter around costs as they grow and expand their operation so this will be a real focus for the FC. You will also be supporting Head Office as they look to implement a new and improved procurement system and bookings systems.
