Financial Controller

Financial Controller, South Wales, £47,000 - £52,000 (12 month contract)

An ambitious business services organisation in Cardiff is currently looking to add an experienced Financial Controller to their finance function in order to oversee the finance team. This is a 12 month contract and the ideal candidate will have the ability to hit the ground running from day one and make the transition as smooth as possible.

Reporting into the financial director, duties for this role include overseeing the following:
-Financial planning
-Financial Accounting - Statuary account production, P&L reports, budget work, Cash flow analysis and Internal audit.
-Management Accounting - Monthly report packs, costing, fixed asset work.
-Liaising with external auditors.
-Assisting with group trading queries, business reviews and presentations of ad hoc group requests.

The successful applicant will also have the key responsibility of driving the business forward using their excellent business acumen and financial expertise and to manage a finance team of 8.
