Financial Control, Accountant, Month End Process

My client, a large bank, requires a Financial Controller/Accountant to to learn and deliver monthly management and financial reporting processes in one location (Bristol or London), and then transfer these tasks and handover to a recipient in Edinburgh.

Main responsibility.
The BAU ongoing work which is to be transferred will depend on exactly which team the candidate in placed in. However, all will have a month end cycle and will the entail elements of the full month end process including: data extraction from systems, data adjustment through journals and other processes, data consolidation and presentation, analytical review, information submission and the full control and assurance processes governing all such flows.

Essential:
*Qualified Accountant
*At ease using and interrogating systems - SAP and Oracle ledgers plus the many IT platforms lending and deposits are recorded on within LBG.
*There are multiple roles available - all roles will be based in Bristol or London for the first month and then Edinburgh thereafter.
