Financial Auditor - 3 Months - Edinburgh

We have a fantastic opportunity for a FINANCIAL AUDITOR for a 3 MONTHS contract based in EDINBURGH.

You will be required to undertake audit assignments for a Finance, Risk and Governance nature and prepare audit reports and suitable working papers to support the audit findings.

SKILLS REQUIRED - - Significant internal audit experience
- General understanding of financial systems and internal control environments
- Proven experience in systems auditing
- Well-developed communication skills both written and oral
- Excellent numeracy and analytical skills with an ability to interpret and compare information
- PC skills and a competent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Investigation and problem solving skills

DESIRABLE SKILLS - - Relevant Accountancy qualification eg CA, ACCA, CIMA
- Experience of working in the public sector
- Knowledge and understanding of Public Sector Internal Audit Standards
