Financial Analyst Service Sales

Job Mission

The Financial Analyst Sales is responsible for the financial accounting, analysis and reporting relating to the service sales activities within the Financial Control Sales department of the client. It is a challenging position in a dynamic and international oriented environment with tight deadlines and direct impact on their financial results.

Job Description

The focus in this position is on executing financial accounting, providing effective financial analysis and reports and ensuring control in the service sales activities area. Due to a new structure, this position will be part of a transition process, splitting responsibilities over two departments. Upon completion the accounting and reporting over cost of service sales will be transferred to Financial Control Operations and you will further grow in your role as Financial Analyst for Sales.

Until completion of the transition you are responsible for:

- Correctly accounting for worldwide service activities managed from headquarters;
- Driving reporting and analysis to business controllers and senior management;
- Being the first point of contact (key user) for Service accountants worldwide with regard to accounting and SAP related questions for services;
- Consolidation of worldwide analyses performed on variances between actual and forecasted results;
- Executing and documenting internal (SOX) controls for the applicable processes
- Being back-up for other Financial Analysts for Sales
- Adding quality and value to information by providing solid analysis;
- Working closely together with counterparts in the field and in other financial control teams;
- Providing proactive support and input to controllers in the applicable sector;
- Driving and enabling finance process optimization by implementing best practices for the service related processes worldwide;
- Proactively seeking for continuous improvements in the execution activities, improving efficiency and quality.

Education

Academic degree in Finance and/or Business Economics.

Experience

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, in an internationally oriented finance department or at an international accounting firm.
