We have an exciting contract opportunity for an experienced Financial Analyst to work for a leading financial organisation based in Waterloo. The Financial Analyst will assess the impact of implementing the revenue recognition standard (US GAAP - ASC 606).
The Financial Analyst will review sales arrangements to determine the impact of US GAAP - ASC 606 and validate the accuracy accounting treatment documented in business cases. He/She will also leverage the business case to determine the appropriate accounting treatments and co-ordinate and report the to the US group.
We are searching for a financial analyst with strong analytical skills able to work autonomously, the successful candidate will need good Excel skills and have ideally worked for one of the big 4 in an audit type role.
Candidates will also ideally have knowledge of the new revenue recognition standard US GAAP - ASC 606.
Skills Overview:
- 3 Years experience working as a financial analyst
- Excellent Excel skills
