Financial Analyst - Project Control Specialist

Financial Analyst/Project Control Specialist:

Candidate requirements: BS Degree in Accounting or Finance. A minimum of 5 years experience required in Project Controls analysing status of multiple projects.

Experience with Financial systems and in the Energy or Utilities industry desired. Experience with Promet required.

Duties include: Work in the Project Controls Group, analyze capital budgets, O&M budgets, perform analysis of actuals, projections, working closely with the NERC-CIP Program Lead.

Emphasis on financial and Sharepoint applications.

Perform all monitoring and controlling of assigned projects.

Must have Knowledge of Microsoft Software to include Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project 2010. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

The Project Controls Specialist serves as the unifying agent providing coordination, and control of the overall projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements of The Company, including issues/risk management, status reporting, financials, scheduling, interaction with Supply Chain for purposes of ordering materials needed for the projects.

Top Skills:

1. Accounting and Financial analysis utilizing Excel, Pivot Tables

2. Previous Energy or Utility industry experience, financial experience to include Promet applications

3. Project controls experience
