Financial Analyst - Perm - Invesment Banking - NYC

One of our global investment banking clients is looking for a financial analyst with 3 - 5 years of experience to join the US PMO office focused on the strategic needs of the business. This group is tasked with providing project management support, financial reporting and planning to global technology manager teams. This is a full time position based in NYC

Responsibilities include:

* Helping to create and maintain a financial model used for management reporting
* Assist in the preparation of monthly financial data;
* Coordinate/Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to establish KPIs and performance measurements
* Processing raw data into meaningful information to enable effective decision-making
* Support business requirements, special projects, unique ad-hoc reporting and analysis

Skills/experience:

* Minimum of 5 years in a Financial Analyst or Accounting Role,
* Technical proficiency with web applications, MS Office, Excel, etc.
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills with financial modeling experience
* Ability to understand and provide forecasting and trending models
* Excellent communication skills
