Financial Analyst, Northampton, Reconciliation

My Client is Looking for a Financial Analyst who is fully qualified accountant. They will be working on Reconciliation with good Excel skills. This role is based in Northampton.

This role exists to develop and implement remediation measures to clear the financial reconciliation gaps within Consumer Affairs PPI. There is a particular focus on the bank's reporting obligations to HMRC in relation to the taxable elements of PPI payments and the Deduction at Source project. This is a high profile role.

Understand the complex reconciliation issues reported by the financial investigation team and suggest suitable remediation measures.
Implement the remediation measures to resolve the reconciliation gaps.
Promptly clear the financial reconciliation gaps and raise issues, if any.
Responsible for the day-to-day recording of journal entries/corrections with particular focus on clearing the reconciliation gaps and support junior team members to achieve the common purpose
