Financial Analyst - Month-End Reporting

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Primarily responsible for providing export accounting and financial support including reporting activities associated with the month end close.
- Provide council to the export business units and advise resolution of accounting issues.
- Host monthly P&L review calls with export business units.
- Prepare journal entries, review and analyze G/L accounts of export business units including identification of risks and opportunities.
- Perform bank reconciliation and complete journal entry.
- Perform a costing run for all foreign sourced and co-manufactured skus.
- Set up new export skus.
- Perform monthly work around on accounts with SAP defects.
- Reconcile and settle payments for inter-company transactions.
- Identify process improvements and areas where processes can be harmonized including assisting in the identification and resolution of SAP System defects.

SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounting/Finance. Proficient in SAP. Proficient in Excel and advanced functions. Possess critical thinking skills, quantitative and analytical problem solving skills. Ability to show initiative. Strong communication and adaptability skills. Strong organizational and priority setting skills. CPA preferred.
