We are looking to hire an entry level person. Most strong candidates will come with a Finance, Operations or Supply Chain degree, but we'd consider someone without a college degree. This role will likely will convert to permanent. Little experience is required. High energy and positive attitude are essential.

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the corporate financial policy and plans and ensuring the integrity of the company's financial records supporting Sourcing and Vendor Management organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- College level coursework in accounting, finance, economics or specifically required by financial specialty.
- 0-4 years related experience
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking
- Ability to work independently and manage one s time
- Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses
- General knowledge of financial theory, quantitative analysis and statistical techniques
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting and invoice control
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide Financial Analysis.
- Perform financial evaluations and develop/implement financial strategies, covering a wide range of issues affecting corporate decisions, profits and financial strength.
- Develop computerized financial models for internal and/or external use.
- Complete worksheets, entries, control and reports in accordance with standard procedures for the insurance industry.
- Prepare sourcing and financial reports for management.
- Prepare reports, identifying necessary corrective actions and recommendations. Present findings to management.
