Financial Analyst Job

FINANCIAL ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in UNIVERSAL CITY, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Develop and implement best in class financial processes
- Financial Reporting, Budget Preparation and Analysis
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required; majors in Business, Accounting, Finance ore related field is preferred
- Willingness to work on weekends with short notice
- Must be willing to work in Universal City

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Partner with Technical Services management and the Finance team to develop and implement best in class metrics and analysis to drive operation performance
- Provide financial coaching to all technical partners
- Financial Reporting, Budget Preparation and Analysis
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance packages for senior management addressing budget variances, cash position and status of current projects
- Prepare annual operating plan, monthly forecasts and latest estimates
- Prepare monthly position update for senior management
- Drivers to include regression and correlation analyses
- Extend findings to provide meaningful recommendations
- Strengthen controls to ensure a "no surprises" environment
- Become a systems expert in order to better track and manage spending

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Ability to perform basic analysis on actual financial performance versus budgeted targets and versus key business
- Ability to leverage relationships with operating partners to optimize efficiencies and influence behavior
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
