Financial Analyst Job

FINANCIAL ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Francisco, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- JDE ERP, COGNOS reporting, and Adaytum planning software
- Corporate budgeting and planning

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Establish budgets and/or cost standards and track performance against these benchmarks. Improve financial processes and systems.
- Develops and maintains reports to support financial reporting, management requests and needs for analysis.
- Reviews the accuracy of financial reports by analysing variances between actuals and plan for significant and unusual activity.
- Evaluates actual expenses to prepare financial forecasts.
- Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Performs other special projects related to analysis and activities requested by management.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must be able to demonstrate a high attention to detail with an ability to independently prioritize and organize work assignments.
- Previous corporate budgeting and planning experience are required.
- Must possess excellent computer and analytical skills. Good communication skills both oral and written are required.
- Previous experience with JDE ERP, COGNOS reporting, and Adaytum planning software are highly desired.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry experience
