Financial Analyst II

We have an exciting opening for a Financial Analyst II position with our progressive client in the Columbia, SC area. This is a long-term contract position. Excellent communication skills required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

-- Reconciliation of current IT inventory under warranty with vendors monthly maintenance contract.
-- Communicating with IT vendors for cancellation of equipment no longer in use.
-- Working with appropriate IT areas and IT asset management team on monthly maintenance contract review.
-- Research and gather usage information for large software contracts.
-- Review of costs impacting cost centers in realm of responsibility, Monthly Cost vs. Budget and Cost Trend explanations, Pool costs and explanations.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors Degree Finance/Financial Management, Economics, Accounting, or related degree - REQUIRED -4 Years

Financial Analysis experience - REQUIRED -2 Years

DB2 AND/OR Access - REQUIRED -2 Years

Advanced Excel (SUMIF, SUMCOUNT, VLOOKUP, etc.) - REQUIRED -2 Years

Cost Accounting experience - REQUIRED -2 Years

IT Accounting - NICE TO HAVE

SQL and/or Querying (writings queries, etc.) experience - REQUIRED
