Financial Analyst I Job

FINANCIAL ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in UNIVERSAL CITY, CA

THE BIG PICTURE- TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Accounting, and Finance or a related field is preferred
- Financial Reporting, Budget Preparation and Analysis
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance packages for senior management
- Systems expert to track and manage spending

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Drive Department Performance
- Partner with Technical Services management and the Finance team to develop and implement best in class metrics and analysis to drive operation performance
- Develop and implement best in class financial processes
- Provide financial coaching to all technical partners
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance packages for senior management addressing budget variances, cash position and status of current projects
- Prepare annual operating plan, monthly forecasts and latest estimates
- Prepare monthly position update for senior management
- Perform basic analysis on actual financial performance versus budgeted targets and versus key business drivers to include regression and correlation analyses
- Extend findings to provide meaningful recommendations
- Maximize technical efficiencies
- Strengthen controls to ensure a "no surprises" environment

- Willingness to work on weekends with short notice
- Leverage relationships with operating partners to optimize efficiencies and influence behavior
- Perform other duties as assigned
