Financial Analyst/Finance Business Partner

Hays Senior Finance is working with a large blue chip business that requires a Financial Analyst/Finance Business Partner to work for one of its divisions. The successful individual will provide financial analysis of the business plan, ongoing forecasting and modelling in relation to any projects across the division, and will lead the development and implementation of analysis and performance measures. You will also proactively work with the leadership team, managers and the MI team to understand spend and to formulate strategies and initiatives to reduce the costs base. Key accountabilities will include the delivery of accurate financial analysis, utilising up to date information and forecasts to support the business in making the right decisions reviewing and challenging financials to ensure they are robust, and represent the commercial context of the project monthly reporting and reforecast of business metrics and all project costs and benefits ensuring the provision of quality business plan tracking reporting, including financial performance and key performance indicators creation and maintenance of spend analysis mapped to current and future cost saving initiatives undertaking regular, ad hoc project work as required, and producing scenario plans in response to changing internal and/or external circumstances and building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.To be successful in this role, you will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with strong modelling and forecasting experience. Youll have advanced Excel skills, as well as being systematic and driven to achieve deadlines. Youll have excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.
