Job Summary:

The EM Financial Analyst is responsible for the Emerging Markets distributors month end activities timely completion and to effectively support the EM Decision support team during forecast and budget processes.

* This role will be data heavy so must have advanced Excel Skills.
* Experience of financial planning and analysis across countries in a sales environment
* The main bulk of the role will be completing Month end and quarter accounting
* Planning and forecasting
* Reporting

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Month end and quarter end accounting: (50%)

- Calculation of the impact of changes in the split and trending for the remainder of the year
- Ensure data on split is reported consistently and links with Sales Flash etc. are maintained

Month End:

- Complete standard journals
- Complete Neuro to Derm monthly allocation
- Check with team any accrual requirements

Quarter End:

- Manage the consolidation of Direct Market returns on Sales and Expense
- Maintain listing of any Gross to Net adjustments for Sales Flash/CFO

Planning: (30%)

Distributor database Maintenance

- Run update process with Legal department
- Update with initial 2015 figures (including Selling Allowances from Business Unit Directors and Commercial Policy rates)

Forecast

- Manage initial load of IMF Sales into the system
- Load sales adjustment per the request from VP's/Country Managers
- Communicate finalised forecast to the teams

Reporting: (20%)

Sales Flash

- Run the sales Flash on a weekly basis: ensuring it reflects the latest IMF data.
- Update with new Regional structure (ie consolidate Sub-Sahara and North Africa into MENA)

Initial creation of Sales Marketing packs and consolidation of the Business Unit Directors replies.

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

* Qualified Accountant
* Post qualification experience and proven success of financial planning in a commercial multi-divisional global organization
* Advanced Microsoft excel skills
* Fluency in English, high standard of oral and written communication and interpersonal skills including cultural sensitivity
