Financial Analyst/Credit Analyst | Oil and Gas | Paris

OIL & GAS FINANCIAL ANALYST/CREDIT ANALYST, OIL MAJOR, PARIS, FRANCE.

My client, a leading Oil Major are looking to make the hire of a Senior Analyst contractor to join their Product division in Paris, France.

THE ROLE:

- Responsibility for the Financial Analysis of Oil and Gas Suppliers
- Comprehensive qualitative and quantiative analysis of clients within the oil & gas industry. This will include: Exploration & Production, Oilfield Services and Power & Pipeline companies.
- Required to write strategic market surveys and keep up on market/pricing trends (regular use of Excel)
- Regular liaison with senior management and other deparments in order to carry out relevant checks/discuss technical procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Candidates  must have experience of Financial Analysis of Oil & Gas suppliers.
- Required to have knowledge of Contracting and Procurement risk.
- Applicant must be a multi-dimensional personality with excellent communication skills.
- Must show a flair for both technical components of the role and also an ability to strike up a good rapport with other departments/senior management/clients where necessary.

Location: Paris 
Duration: 1 year contract to perm 
Daily rate: 300-500 euros per day
