Financial Analyst - (ACA/CIMA)

Financial Analyst urgently required by our client a leading Media company based in Dunfermline, Scotland.

As a Financial Analyst you will be integral to the success of the business vision of delivering the best service in the country. You will be a key member of our clients Finance team, working towards our ambition to be the best finance team in Britain.

You will be motivated to support the business, delivering insightful financial analysis, and supporting the production of accurate budgets and forecasts, often to tight deadlines. You will be able to demonstrate a can-do attitude, take ownership of your finance are and deliver results in the right way. You will be a qualified finance professional with strong relationship, presentation and financial skills.

Key skills for this role include:
-Understanding and acting to resolve complex financial, commercial, legal and regulatory impacts and implications of different courses of actions and decisions.
-Building great relationships with business partners to ensure finance can influence strategy.
-Driving the agenda to provide even better customer service but with focus on delivering highest shareholder value.
-Using insight to drive proactive, business change.
-Championing controls and improving procedures to mitigate financial and commercial risk.
-Ensuring output to senior management and the executive is of the highest standard and in a format that pinpoints key issues and is easy to understand.
-Effective communication with finance colleagues across the business.
-Ability to deal with difficult situations in a constructive manner with positive outcomes for all.

The successful candidate should have:
-ACA/CIMA qualification or equivalent
-Knowledge in a similar role from a large blue chip organisation or audit firm
-Ability to respond resourcefully to change and ambiguity and able to champion new ideas and initiatives
-Commitment to encourage and develop team to accomplish their individual and team objectives.
