Financial Analyst - Staines - 6 Month Contract - £200 a Day

Brief description of Role

To assist in the preparation of the quarterly consolidated forecasts and monthly variance analysis and other related ad hoc tasks.

Main Responsibilities

* To prepare the quarterly Revenue forecast templates to be sent to account managers and/or regional financial controllers to update their forecasts
* Review the returned templates, query and validate responses
* To ensure that the forecasts are produced in the required format and include all required information
* To upload the forecast templates, validate that information produced is accurately written back to the database
* To produce consolidated forecast reports to be distributed to the regions and other partners
* To prepare detailed variance analysis templates to be sent to regions for explanations
* To produce consolidated forecast reports updated with Actual to be distributed to regions
* Other ad hoc analytical and reporting tasks

Technical Skills

* AAT/CIMA/ACCA studier with good foundation of accountancy experience
* Strong Excel skills - CRUCIAL
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Experience dealing with foreign exchange, an advantage
* Knowledge of Analyst Financials and Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, an advantage
* Ability to meet tight deadlines and to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
