Financial Analyst

Provide the technical and functional support of Cash Management software applications to Treasury and Cash Accounting teams. Support Treasury and Cash Accounting business process improvement efforts through the use of technology.

JOB DUTIES:

- Document and perform the configuration and implementation of system fixes, updates and enhancements to all Cash Management applications by working closely with IT, software vendors, and functional Treasury/Accounting personnel.
- Provide Treasury/Accounting application support for daily bank file monitoring, accounting monitoring, and book close processing.
- Facilitate business process improvement through the use of technology.
- Provide software support and training to the Treasury and Cash Accounting teams.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, computer science, or related discipline
- Up to 2 years of experience in a Treasury Operations, Capital Markets, accounting or finance related position.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Knowledge of internal accounting controls
- Knowledge of accounting systems and technology
- Ability to assemble and analyze financial statements
- Ability to work on multiple projects and teams concurrently
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Ability to manage individual portions of a larger project
- Commitment to highest standards of quality and integrity
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and self motivate effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED:

- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting or Systems
- CFP, CPA, or other financial certification
- Treasury Operations experience
- Public accounting experience
- Wall Street Systems experience
- Chesapeake T-Recs experience
