Financial Analyst

Our client is seeking an experienced FINANCIAL ANALYST to join their London/Farnborough based team on an initial 12 month contract. The requirement will be to take responsibility for cost and revenue tracking for a number of programmes within Secure Shared Delivery. This is a great opportunity to join an exciting shared service within the public sector.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Weekly updates of multiple programmes.
- Financial tracking spreadsheets.
- Analysis of variances from one week/one month to the next and reporting on that variance to the programme and the business.
- Ensuring programme invoices are tracked and raised efficiently with revenue allocated correctly.
- Validating all financial tracking spreadsheets with the ledgers/actuals to date and investigating/resolving discrepancies.
- Reporting cost/revenue accrual data to F&P every month end and resolving discrepancies.

A good understanding of the client's financial processes including cost/revenue control and month end processes is essential alongside a good grasp of MS Excel spreadsheets.

SC clearance will be an advantage.
