Financial Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Support resource tracking for the project, creation of purchase orders, invoice tracking
- Tracking of actual spend and re-forecasting accordingly
- Work closely with the finance team on data analysis of financial data to identify opportunities and trends
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting process
- Collect data, allocate costs and prepare reports on resources
- Prepare and analyze month-end financial reports and statements; review for accuracy or omissions, reporting findings to management and alert management for significant variances to plan and forecast

SKILLS:

REQUIRED:

- Strong analytical skills; ability to determine data needs and analysis approaches to resolve issues and inform decision-making
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including creating pivot tables, v-lookups charts and graphs
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work on multiple tasks at once, appropriately prioritizing and managing time
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Flexible, persistent, creative at finding solutions
- Quick learner, team player, ability to work efficiently and independently

PREFERRED:

- Experience with Ariba, Computron, SAP
