FINANCIAL ANALYST

Our client requires a Financial Analyst for a 6 month contract to be based in Farringdon.

Location: Farringdon, London

Duration: 6 months

Rate: £150 p/d

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The Finance Analyst will be responsible for assisting the existing team to manage activities relating to ongoing deliverables, while integrating 3 recently acquired businesses.
- In addition they will provide financial support to the acquired businesses.
- You will also manage the delivery of results to ensure monthly close in line with the reporting calendar.
- You will be required to manipulate data effectively from a reporting standpoint.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES DESIRED:

- A developed career within finance.
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, accounting, and management reporting.
- Proven ability to interact and influence in a dynamic business environment, including formal presentations.
- Systems experience - SAP/BEX (GL and OTC preferred) and Cognos.
- Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and work with peers within a highly matrixed environment
- Confident, a team player
- Independent and a self-starter - ability to work on your own initiative, with limited supervision.
- Experience of business integration
- Experience of Financial Modelling.
