Financial Administrator - 6 Month Contract Based in Edinburgh

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Financial Administrator to join a leading financial services organisation based in Edinburgh for a 6 month contract but there is a good chance this could then be extended further.

You will be working on a project heavily influenced by reconciliations and dealing with internal contacts based on another site as part of a team of 8 people.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform intermediate level tasks in Word, Excel and PowerPoint (ie word documents with tables, spreadsheets with complex formulas and detailed presentations/charts).
- Complex tasks within databases and e-mail systems
- Operate the advanced features of phone/voicemail and office equipment
- Access a wide variety of Internet resources.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Advanced Microsoft Word & excel abilities
- Previous Financial Services experience
- Powerpoint knowledge
- Ability to analyse large amounts of data
- Excellent communication skills
- Great Attention to detail
- Excellent telephone manner
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must have ability to use own initiative & be resourceful
