Financial Accounting Manager

This global technology company is looking for a Financial Accounting Manager to provide accurate and timely financial information on the performance of the relevant business division.

You will be responsible for the month end close where you will be preparing and reporting accurate and insightful financial information. You will also prepare the statutory accounts and consolidate them. You will be required to analyse and redefine existing processes, providing commentary and vision on how to ensure productivity on accounting activities. Your part of the role will involve intercompany accounting and managing the AP/AR function. You will also be required to implement new accounting procedures that improve on existing practices, your responsibility will include managing the internal audit and SOX reporting.

To be successful in this role you will be a qualified accountant with strong financial acumen and good interpersonal skills. You should have an ability to analyse, interpret and communicate information in an effective and efficient manner. Ideally you will have worked in an operational finance capacity responsible for GL, Fixed Assets, AP & AR.
