FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (SAP FI/CO)

Financial Accountant (SAP FI/CO) wanted for a temporary project assignment in Zurich, Switzerland.

YOUR TASKS:

- Supporting ad hoc expert user's requests regarding accounting processes, maintaining master data and processing postings
- Analysing incidents in daily processes and monthly closing of the SAP books including all related interfaces ensuring the integrity of the banks accounting processes in conformance with accounting policy and company timelines
- Leading and participating in procedure improvement activities creating efficiencies while minimizing risk and making processes more efficient and reliable
- Assisting onshore analysis of business processes and requirements, documenting change requests, working closely with IT during realisation phase, covering tests and assisting implementation into production of underlying systems.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Experience in financial accounting with SAP CO and SAP FI including sub modules Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets
- KnowHow in customizing SAP FI and CO, ideally ABAP coding
- Proficient knowledge in financial analysis with strong Excel and Access skills and an aptitude to work with complex scenarios
- Good communication skills,a strong work ethic and drive to proactively address possible areas of improvement
- Languages: Fluent in English both written and spoken
